Special Education Teacher - Math/Science

Private licensed residential school seeks a Math/Science teacher to instruct small classes of adolescents (6-8) in a residential treatment program. Position responsibilities include planning and implementing daily lesson plans based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. This year round program, with extended summer vacation, focuses on the educational, social and behavioral needs of adolescents. Qualified applicant will be a member of an interdisciplinary team providing integrated services to students. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the educational development of these adolescents. Qualifications include Massachusetts certification in Special Education or Massachusetts teacher certification and a willingness to become Special Education certified.
